As Keller Williams agents continue to rely on real estate’s most comprehensive contact and lead management system for their business, eEdge developers continue to roll out updates to improve upon the already revolutionary system.
Below are a list of the latest updates to eEdge, which include many improvements to the myTransactions system in regions where it is currently available.
myTransactions Updates
A Form Clause Manager, which will prove to be a huge time saver by allowing for clauses and phrases that are frequently used on contracts to be saved and reused! Type the phrase into the clause manager once, and add it to forms with just a couple of quick clicks!
The ability to customize email messages when sending forms and documents – enabling you to customize the email message that clients or co-op agents receive. This allows you to alert clients to specific fields, or add other information that would ensure all state and local regulations regarding communications are met.
Greater efficiency in completing contracts and other forms. With the new forms user interface, all pages for a given form become one, scrollable document with a docked navigation bar at the footer of the page that is always visible – eliminating the time it takes you to “save and continue” while progressing through the document. For compliance purposes, however, clients will still need to click “save and continue” at the completion of every page to record their viewing of each page.
Electronic access to entire sets of forms for specific transaction types or functions. Brokers can now package together sets of forms such as “Short Sale Transactions” – allowing associates to start a transaction with a specific set of forms without selecting them individually.
myContacts Updates
Enhanced data import capabilities within myContacts now allow for 20 additional fields, along with auto reminders for birthdays, anniversaries and other key dates.
Stay tuned for even more updates concerning the eEdge system as they become available!

Today’s tip deals with an important facet of eEdge: getting your listings into the system. Although this can be accomplished by placing a phone call to Market Leader, the following steps will allow you to add your listings on your own.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red “Edit” button.
Under “Agent MLS ID,” select “Add Agent MLS ID.”
In the “Agent MLS ID” field, you will need to enter your six digit KWLS ID code, which you can find by logging into the KW White Pages (From MyKW, Under “Quick Links,” click on “White Pages,” then search for your agent profile. Your KWLS ID will be listed next to “Associate ID” on your White Pages profile).
Back on eEdge, enter the ID, and click “Save.” You’re done! You can now market your listings using the many wonderful tools eEdge has to offer.
Note: You can also enter an ID that will allow all of the listings from your market center to show; however, you must confirm with your broker before doing so. For further information, contact Market Leader.

You’re already receiving leads from eEdge, so what is the easiest way to be effectively notified of any new messages in the system? Make sure that you have added both your e-mail and mobile phone number to the “Alerts” portion of the Admin page.
Family Reunion 2011 may be over, but the effect it has had on KW agents will last throughout the year! One of our agents, Erin Romanski, was kind enough to share her experience at this year’s event with us.
After returning from our Keller Williams Realty annual conference that we call “Family Reunion,” I have had some time to reflect on the various classes and experiences that I was able to attend or partake in. What an amazing event once again! It is such a pleasure to be a part of this company that puts the agent #1 and focuses all of its energy on making agents do better and work smarter. KW brings the cutting edge technology to us in every way! There were over 8,000 real estate professionals at this year’s Family Reunion, making it the largest gathering of real estate professionals in our industry. From the Vision Speech by Gary Keller to the State of the Company with Mark Willis and hearing real estate guru Stephan Swanepoel speak, there was a lot to be learned both in business and in life!
